A Taste of Stouffville

I wanted to thank you for your part in the great success of Evergreen Hospices’ Taste of Stouffville event August 27 in Stouffville Memorial Park.

Rebecca told me of your generous effort to reduce prices on the tent rentals and your donation of a sign for the event.

Evergreen Hospice netted  almost $15,000.00 at the event and all of it will go to providing residents of Stouffville when they are living with a life threatening illness or grief.

Evergreen Hospice is a community hospice that serves Stouffville, Markham, and Thornhill, providing services at no cost to the client. For over 25 years, it has helped people of all ages who are affected by a life threatening illness or grief, while respecting their culture, faith and language. Evergreen is a charitable organization that receives limited government funding of about 20 per cent of their budget. Remaining funds are raised through events and donations from businesses and individuals.
