Here are just a few photos that are reasons why we are copied.

  1. Our chair covers fit.
  2. A trip down Orfus Road is quite telling. The good looking tents were sold as used tents by us. We regularly replace our inventory with new tents. As can clearly be seen our old used tents still look good. The crappy ones came from one of our competitors that shall remain nameless but their initials are advanced.
  3. Fairmont style or ASAP style. You can be the judge.
  4. We get a lot of calls for staging. We can do it right. We use StageRight. Ask the other companies if they can provide railings.
  5. We offer extensive decor. In the past few years a large number of companies have sprung up to offer “event design” We are the guys they rent their stuff from.
  6. We have another first in the GTA. The “Ghost Lectern” shown with Paul Colandra standing at it will be copied by all the other party rentals within a few years. PS We rent it for the lowest price in North America.
  7. For years we have been renting patio heaters. In the photo we are testing a forced air furnace in the dugout at BMO Field. We also can offer experienced information on keeping entertainers and mucians warm during performances.
  8. Many years ago ASAP  brought black spandex cruiser table covers to Toronto. Most of the other party rentals have copied us. They are still so far behind that they have not even noticed we can supply the in white or any other colour.

This morning while installing our tent for Fairmont I realized it is ASAP Style.
So how much extra does ASAP Tent & Party Rentals Style cost? Nothing actually.
ASAP Tent and Party Rentals has been doing this tent annually for the Fairmont Montebello for several years now. In the past we have called it “Fairmont Style”. In reality it is “ASAP Tent and Party Rentals Style”. It just happens to be a perfect fit. At ASAP the intention is to supply a service that exceeds that of our competitors and our client expectation. This does not cost extra. In some cases clients pay just as much or even more for mediocre quality. While returning from the 18th hole I stopped to take a photo of “The Other Guys”. You can be the judge. Does this look like the other guys even care about their job? It starts at the top. The company bought cheap pop-ups. The whole attitude from the top on down is careless indifference.
ASAP Tent and Party Rentals also supplies some of the garment retailers along the Orfus Road “New Garment District” up by Yorkdale. It is very easy to see which tents were supplied by ASAP Tent and Party Rentals. It is the good looking ones. These 2 Used tents at Urban Behavior are well built with clean lines. These examples have been up a whole year.

Some companies go for “cheep” and get less than the paid for. Again, you can be the judge.If you can’t determine the ASAP Tents, look for our sticker with the QR code.

 

 

When it comes to elegant formal tents ASAP Tent and Party Rentals really becomes the supplier of choice. As a regular course of business our tents greatly outshine our competition. This was our target specialty and just the simple stuff far exceeds what some other companies can do. If our ordinary is not enough we can send in our design consultant. Just another day for ASAP.

Here we have a larger installation of the stage right decking. In this instance we have a full 24' X 32' X 30" stage with 2 staircases and fully skirted.

Last winter we added some new staging to our inventory. It was a huge success.  We have been doing a number of the smaller jobs that the big staging companies turn up their nose at.

We have added new inventory due to the popularity. Small jobs with railings up to bigger setups are now easy and within reach.

Here are a few photos including the recent press conference we did. This uses a smal stage, our Ghost Acrylic Lectern (Podium) and our wireless microphone and PA system. Of course we did the tent for this event also.

Last years commencement ceremony for Villanova College  is the other event photo. We have been doing this event for several years now and of course we will be doing again this year.

For Villanova College we supply two stages. One is the main stage with a staircase on both sides and seating areas for the guest speakers. The second stage is for the college orchestra. ASAP Tent and Party Rentals also supplies 750 bistro chairs and a 40 X 100 tent for the catered refreshments after the graduation ceremony. This kind of installation is down by the lake on uneven soft ground. The installation requires 3 large 5 ton trucks. It can be said that we are the fly by night tent company. Just a few hours after the ceremony there is no trace. ASAP also picks up the leftover garbage and water bottles.

The star of the show is ASAP Tent and Party Rental’s Ghost Acrylic Lectern Podium. This photo was taken this morning with Paul Colandra at a press conference put on by the Nature Conservancy of Canada.

Party Rentals, Tent Rentals and event planning expertise were supplied by ASAP Tent and Party Rentals. The clear acrylic “Ghost Lectern” was a perfect touch at Love Mountain. From some seats the podium was nearly invisible letting the beauty of the natural surroundings shine through.

The staging was done with ASAP’s new Axxis stage deck and we supplied and set up the wireless microphone. The wireless microphone is perfect with the clear acrylic podium because there are no wires or other distractions. The system worked flawlessly despite a pair of dogs ripping out the power cables as the complete system can work from the internal batteries.

Party Rental deliveries are now available on Saturday and Sunday.

Starting March 1st, ASAP Tent and Party Rentals started offering weekend delivery. There will be a small surcharge over our regular weekday delivery rates but the combined price is still less than some of our competitors charge for normal delivery.

As well as regular weekend delivery we will also be doing trial evening deliveries. Please note that there may be some limitations on delivery size as we are using a smaller weekend delivery truck. Call for details.

So many details – so many decisions.

Picking a date may seem like the first step – but, caution – is the venue you chose available for your special day?

A flexible couple is a happy couple.  Many party rentals venues have event planners to assist you with the million and one little details on staff.  Some locations include a certain amount of advice and organizing some do not.  Be careful here.

Let’s not forget to ask our Maid of Honour and Best Man if they are available to help with details.  Such as event rentals, decorations, audio visual equipment, music etc.

Mothers in Law to be are also willing to assist you with out of town hotel room bookings, airline meet and greets as well as handling last minute little emergencies.  It is okay to enlist the help of anyone who has offered.  Yes this is your day – don’t make the mistake of wearing yourself out.

Sit down with your partner first – what would you both like to see happen?  Create an outline to work with – make copies – make notes – share your outline with the people who will be helping you – this includes your event planner.

Event planners can either handle the entire wedding right down to honeymoon arrangements – to as simple as confirming your venue date.  There is a vast spread in this spectrum – you decide which one suits you and your budget.

The professionals you will be hiring for your day generally come with a wealth of knowledge, experience and most important – ideas.

Party Planning 101 – Have fun with your party this year!

Let’s have a look at a few ideas and tips to make your party the event you would want to attend.

Your guests would love to enjoy your company – a relaxed host/hostess = happy guests.

  • What’s your meal plan? There are so many different types of holiday themes to choose from – just finding the one that suits your life style can be an adventure yet to be found.  A trip to your local farmer’s market will show you what is new and what has lasted the test of time.  Don’t be afraid to ask for a taste test or advice. Make notes – or carry a mini tape recorder. Remember, have fun with this excursion – don’t do anything else on your fact-finding day – just enjoy the experience.  Combine comfort food with the WOW factor.  Not sure of what to do for a WOW?  Purchase one your first time out – bakery – caterer – specialty food store – use your decorations and china to make it your own.
  • How Long will this take? Do you have enough time with all your other holiday obligations to pull this off in time for your party? Try to choose some food items that can be made well in advance and simply re-heated on the big day.  Draw up a food prep/shopping time line schedule the week before your event – make sure to include time for yourself – and stick to it.  Play happy/relaxed music while working in the kitchen. Ask your family/friends for help – there is no law that says you must do this on your own.  Your children would be happy to help, if asked – or simply post a notice – GENIUS AT WORK – QUIET PLEASE
  • Making a List and checking it twice. Shopping lists can make you or break you.  Spending time on your list will save you time, last minute panic shopping, etc. etc. Carry it with you at all times – save a copy for your next party. The list can be separated into as many categories as you want.  For example, dry goods – napkins, linens and so on.  Canned or packaged products.  Fresh foods to be bought a day or two before the party.  Fresh flowers or garlands.  Don’t forget! Cross off each item as purchased – feels good doesn’t it?
  • Relax and Enjoy Mum’s the word.  No show and tell required of what you forgot or what didn’t get pulled off as planned.  No one will know the difference.  Keep it light – keep it fun. (for you too)
  • Oh No!! Washing Up!  Not a problem. Rent everything you need and leave the washing up to ASAP Tent and Party Rentals.  You can rent china, cutlery, glasses and linens.  But…here’s the best part of all – don’t wash pots and pans – rent chafing dishes.  These little beauties have two sizes of inserts one large or two small – keeps your food warm without the bother of pots and pans.  Chafing dishes are also made to hold aluminium foil pans – so if your food came from a caterer – in to the chafing dish they go – no fuss no muss.  Also great for those dishes you made ahead. You see chafers are not only for buffets they can be used anywhere – especially in your kitchen.  Ta Da!
